A stainless steel gua sha is a facial massage tool used over oil or serum to move trapped fluid towards the lymph nodes at the jaw and neck, leaving the face looking less puffy and more defined. Steel holds cold longer than stone and is completely non-porous, which makes it a practical choice for daily use. This set pairs a contoured gua sha with a matching eye roller, both in 304 stainless steel.
What does a gua sha tool do?
Cold metal and slow, directional pressure encourage lymphatic drainage along the jaw and neck. The visible result is a flatter, more sculpted face that lasts several hours, which makes it a good choice before a meeting, a night out or a camera. The second benefit is just as welcome: the release of tension along the masseter, the muscle that tightens from clenching and screen time.
Should you choose steel or jade?
Both do the same lymphatic work, so the choice is about the material and the ritual. Steel holds cold longer, is non-porous and is effectively unbreakable, which suits a tool used every morning and stored in the fridge. Jade is the traditional choice, and many people prefer its weight in the hand and the slower, warmer feel of it — our Jade Roller & Gua Sha Set is made for exactly that. You may well want both: jade for the evening wind-down, steel for the morning, when cold does the heavy lifting.
How to use a stainless steel gua sha
- Store it in the fridge so it is properly cold when you pick it up.
- Apply facial oil or serum first — never use it on dry skin.
- Hold the tool almost flat and sweep outward: chin to ear along the jaw, nose to ear across the cheek.
- Finish with downward strokes on the side of the neck to clear the line.
- Use the small curved notch on the brow bone and the ridge under the eye, feather-light.
- The long straight edge works well on shoulders, forearms and calves.

Common questions
How long before I see results?
Cooling and massage tools — gua sha, cryo globes and rollers — show a visible difference the same morning, and that effect holds for several hours. Powered devices such as microcurrent and LED build over six to eight weeks of near-daily use and are maintained by keeping the habit. Most customers use one of each: an instant result for the mornings that matter, and a cumulative one for the months ahead.
Do I need anything else to use it?
Microcurrent and EMS devices need a water-based conductive gel, because the current cannot travel without one and oil-based products block it entirely. Gua sha tools, rollers and cryo globes work over any facial oil or serum you already own. LED devices are used on clean, bare skin with nothing underneath.
What if it is not right for me?
You have thirty days to return it, opened or unopened, and no explanation is required. Return postage for a change of mind is yours to cover; if an item arrives faulty or incorrect, we cover it and send you a prepaid label.
